LandMark

waves crash on the shore for our eyes to adore

the sea cries

my eyes cry

your heart cries

we cry for

all we need as we try to breathe inside the sea which swallows me

the oceans try to steal all that’s real

in our hearts, in our minds, and all we feel

Sharks kept circling, always hunting

Waiting in the shallows calling

As I washed the dirt from my face

Sharks kept circling round

mountains strive to touch the sky where stars reside through the night

I will know

you will know

we will know

they will know

where to hide from the light that burns their eyes

I will be true to you in all I do

soon you will see why it must be all for me

Hawks kept hunting, always circling

Waiting in the shadows watching

As the clouds passed over my face

Hawks kept hunting on

WhereIsTheWest?

solitary and intricate stands a great tree

brown against its soft bed of green

just as the center of my eyes

pales to the splendor of the skies

a broken building stands alone

could it have once been someone’s home?

if I had a hammer and this world had a heart

I would rebuild it and never let them tear it apart

When will we be brave enough to dance within the clouds?

And when will we be strong enough to mend this broken world that’s crying out?

the mountains cry out, split apart by man’s lust

for freedom from the earth that he was made from

the mountains mourn with tears and they beg for

us to speak and tell them to unite once more

When will we be brave enough to tell the mountains to unite?

And when will we be strong enough to stand in the rain screaming out?

When will we hear all the children dying from this life?

And when will we begin to change all that is inside before we die?

            There must be life

            We must try

            To survive

Unique

A million faces pass by

I hide beneath my eyes

I stare blankly ahead

I’m walking with the dead

But I am not alone here

I’m with so many tears

Hidden underneath the scars

That hide the deepest parts

We’re so good at blending in

So very good at blending sin

With excuses of humanity

Instead of claming what we see

When it rains, when it rains

When it rains on our hearts

When it rains in our eyes

A thousand faces all around

I can hear a thousand sounds

I try to stay unseen

But I can feel His eyes burn me

But I am not alone here

These bodies move these ears can hear

The truth that breaks these chains

That have kept me the same

Chorus

Angel’sTears
along the clouds, floating down
here they come, here they come
catching light, falling bright
upon the earth, upon this town

gaining speed, falling fast
here they are, upon our heads
we raise our arms, protect ourselves
from the very things that we catch

splashing, falling (on our woods)
catching, calling (all our hearts)
dance on children, dance on children

along the air, speeding on
splashing views, clouding sight
covering all, bringing life
here they come, come along

little children come outside
the rains are here, the skies are near
the clouds have opened up their eyes
come feel the light, it's so alive

splashing, falling (in our eyes)
catching, calling (all our souls)
dance on children, dance on children
